Bruins Nation Pac-12 Pick 'Em Week 7: Knowledge Beats Luck

Bruins Nation's IE Angel is back in the winner's circle after finishing first in week 7 of Pac-12 Pick 'Em.

My luck ran out after just one week. That's the problem with luck--you can't rely on it.

Unfortunately for me, IE Angel doesn't need to rely on luck, and for the second time this season, he claims weekly honors by relying on knowledge. Congratulations IE Angel!

IE Angel's 16 points in week 7 were good enough for first place. Two contestants--Westwood One and Insomnia333---tied for second place with 15 points, and another six competitors tied for third with 14 points.

There are just four weeks left in the competition now. Here's the new leaderboard:

IE Angel's strong performance in week 7 has lifted him into first place in the overall standings, one point ahead of Silicon Valley Bob, and two points ahead of Insomnia333.

As I mentioned last week, it's worth remembering that after the final week of Bruins Nation's Pac-12 Pick 'Em, each contestant's lowest weekly score will be dropped, which is certain to result in significant movement in the overall standings.
