This Saturday night (and Sunday morning) the Bruins will take on the powerful offense of the Washington State Cougars. - Devin Fuller
- Jordan Payton
- Ka'imi Fairbairn
- Matt Mengel
- Roosevelt Davis
- Stephen Manfro
- Aaron Wallace
- Jake Brendel
- Sean Burd
- Chris Longo
- Tyler Scott
- Logan Sweet
- Nick Pasquale and his family
There is some incredible talent in this group of Bruins. I must admit, I got teary eyed as I typed it. Having watched these young men develop and contribute over the years, they really seem to feel like family to me. I would like to thank them all for being such great Bruins! And I know we will all miss them dearly.
One of these young men will have the opportunity in this his last home game, to become the leading scorer in Pac-12 and UCLA history. Gbruin wrote a really wonderful piece about how Ka'imi has grown through the years. He is just one example of the the maturity and development we have witnessed.
As we celebrate your Bruin careers, know we will always keep the memory of all that you have shared with us on and off the field because They Can't Take That Away From us:
I'm sorry that there are no moving visuals to go with the music, but I love how Ella and Louis perform this Gershwin tune, and while Fred and Ginger cut it as dancers, well, the vocals just can't compete!
If you are going to the Rose Bowl, be sure to stay in your seat at the beginning of half-time so that these great Bruins can get the tribute from the fans that they deserve. If you are not going to be able to make it, you might want to join other Bruins around the country as they gather to cheer the Bruins on. Here is a list of places where Bruins will be gathering:
Enjoy the late evening watching our Bruins on the field Saturday. It should be marvelous night for a Moondance:
Can I just have one more Moondance with you ... ?
Go Bruins!
