UCLA Opens its Basketball Season against the Monmouth Hawks

Will Bryce finally be moved off ball so we can stop seeing these baseline drives to nowhere?

UCLA opens PAC 12 basketball play tonight against Monmouth at 8 p.m. at Pauley. For details on how to watch the game go here. Please note that the game is on PAC 12 LA, others with the PAC 12 network will get a "jump around" featuring multiple games at once. (Note the UCLA game is replayed at 1:30 a.m. Pacific).

As far as the game itself, three things to look out for:

1. How will UCLA's multiple bigs defend against a team that often goes four guards? Will we see a lot of zone?

2. How good is Aaron Holiday? Is he our point guard savior? Is he really a one man pressing machine?

3. This is the first chance to see Prince Ali and a better look at Jonah Bolden. At the exhibition, Ali was hurt and Bolden was wound up for his first game in a year and a half. How raw are they? Are they elite athletes?
