The 0-1 Cal Poly Mustangs are taking on the 0-1 UCLA Bruins tonight at 7:06 p.m. pacific at Pauley Pavilion. The game will be on Pac-12 Networks with Don Maclean doing the color commentary.
Although both teams are 0-1, Cal Poly is probably feeling pretty good about itself after a nice comeback and a narrow loss. UCLA is not. Steve Alford said UCLA was not a very good team right now. Something to watch:
- Isaac Hamilton and Bryce Alford played over 40 minutes Friday night and Thomas Welsh logged a career high 39. Will Steve Alford turn to the bench for big minutes tonight?
- Who and what is Jonah Bolden? Is he a big guard? A Power forward? Can he defend against a smaller quick player?
- Will UCLA look inside to Parker and Welsh more this game?
It is ridiculous to say that UCLA needs a win in its second game but it sure feels that way.
Go Bruins!
