UCLA Drops Out of Both Polls Again

The Bruins dropped out of both polls following yesterday's loss, but the College Football Playoff picture may be a little clearer.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

In case you weren't quite sure UCLA has again dropped out of the Top 25 following yesterday's loss to Southern Cal.

With just the conference championships and the Army-Navy game left to play, here is where the polls stand. Clemson and Alabama remain 1-2 in both polls while Notre Dame's loss to Stanford has allowed the Oklahoma Sooners to move into the top 4.

Given that Iowa will play Michigan State for a playoff spot in the Big Ten Championship Game and Ohio State is done for the regular season, Stanford could have an opportunity to move into the CFP if Clemson or Alabama falter in their conference championship games, although if Clemson loses to North Carolina, the #8 Tar Heels could move into the playoff picture instead of the Cardinal.

It certainly looks like both Notre Dame and Florida State are out at this point as neither team will be playing for a conference title.

Elsewhere in the Pac-12, Oregon moved up to #15 and #16 while Utah comes in at #21 and #20. Southern Cal re-enters the polls today at #24 in both while Washington State also dropped out after losing to Washington.

Here are the results from each poll:
