UCLA Basketball: Oregon Game Thread -- Keep Winning In Pauley

The Bruins want revenge after being run and shot off the court in Oregon two weeks ago. More importantly, UCLA needs to win all their remaining home games and split in Arizona to get third place in the PAC-12 and a likely NCAA bid.

The UCLA Bruins (15-10, 7-5) face the Oregon Ducks (18-7, 8-4) in Pauley this afternoon. Tip-off is set for 12:07 PM PT. You can catch the game on Fox. Gus Johnson and Jim Jackson will call the game (perhaps we'll avoid a meltdown on Saturday afternoon national TV this time). You can also listen on Tunein Radio or 570 AM. Follow along with live stats here.

Read the BN preview and the official guide at uclabruins.com (from which you can click to their exhaustive stats and tidbits).

Vegas has UCLA as the 6 point favorite.

The Bruins will be one third of the way through Mission 3.0 (go 6-1 down the stretch) after this game. Thus far, Stanford has cooperated too by losing to Utah. At the end of the this game, the PAC-12 standings should be reset back to the four-way third place tie.

Two big differences from last time when Oregon shot the Bruins off the floor as they just stood and watched: game is in Pauley and Tony Parker will play this time.

The Ducks are a small and fast team, and UCLA is a relatively big and slow team. The Bruins should be able to impose their will this time with Tony in the lineup, and there is no "Norman-stopper" on the Oregon roster. As a matter of fact, Powell's current run started in the second half of the last Oregon game when he dribble-drove to the hoop time after time.

Enjoy the game thread with your fellow BNers and Bruins.
