BN Spring Football Saturday Breakfasts Return for 3rd Year

New, 10 comments

Practice can be boring. Hanging with new and old friends from Bruins Nation makes it more fun!

If you've ever been to a UCLA football practice, you know that watching practice isn't always that exciting. Sometimes, it's about as exciting as watching paint dry to be honest. Because, after all, we're talking about practice (H/T to Allen Iverson).

Well, one way to make it more fun is to be there with friends. That way you've got someone to talk to while you're watching practice. Now, that could be your best buddy from high school or it could be just hanging out with someone you've been interacting with online.

That's why, in what has become somewhat of a Bruins Nation tradition, it's my pleasure to announce that our Spring Practice Saturday Breakfast meetups will return for the third consecutive year.

As few weeks ago, Greg wrote an article about the Spring Football Practice Schedule. As part of the overall schedule, the team is schedule to practice each Saturday. The team is scheduled to practice at 9:30am at Spaulding Field for the first three Saturdays of the month and at 10am at the Rose Bowl for the Spring Game on Saturday, April 25th.

So, what we'll do is for the first three weekends we'll meet at Headlines! Diner in Westwood for breakfast at 8am and then we'll head over to Spaulding to catch the day's practice session, probably sometime around 9am.

Our plans for the Spring Game are still be determined and will be announced when we get closer to the actual date.
