UCLA Basketball: USC Game Thread -- PAC-12 Round 2

After eight days off, No. 4 seed UCLA is finally back in action in the second round of the PAC-12 Tournament. We've been writing about a revenge game with ASU, but justSC upset them yesterday to advance. This game won't help the RPI at all, so the Friday match-up with Arizona looms large. But let's get our third win against justSC today first.

The No. 4 seed UCLA Bruins (19-12, 11-7) meet the No. 12 seed USC Trojans (12-19, 3-15) in the second round of the PAC-12 Tournament at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Tip-off is set for 2:40 PM PT. You can catch the game on PAC-12 Networks (or PAC-12.com -- both free today). Kevin Calabro and Don MacLean will call it. You can also listen on Tunein Radio or 570 AM. Follow along with live stats here (as a backup, check PAC-12 live stats).

Vegas has UCLA as the 10 point favorite.

JustSC upset ASU 67-64 (box score) in the first round of the Tournament with a 21-4 run to close the game. Elijah Stewart had 27 points. Although point guard Jordan McLaughlin is out, the Trojans seem to have found some chemistry without him.

We're all anticipating a date with Arizona on Friday, but after eight days off, let's hope the Bruins don't look past this game and aren't rusty. Meanwhile, Stewart and Jacobs just played 37 and 39 minutes respectively.

As Matt said, UCLA has beaten justSC twice including a game eight days ago, and if they show up rested but not rusty and they take care of the ball, the Bruins should win this easily.
