UCLA Football is heading to Tucson this weekend for its first conference game of the year. As the Bruins kickoff their Pac-12 season, Bruins Nation is kicking off a new feature: the Bruins Nation Pac-12 Pick 'Em Challenge!
Before I get to the details for joining the competition, let me briefly outline the rules. Each week you will be asked to pick the winners in all of the Pac-12 contests as well as in a dozen or so other games. However, in each instance, you have to take the given point spread into account.
For example, UCLA is a 4 point favorite over Arizona as of Wednesday morning. Therefore, your choice in that game is UCLA vs. Arizona + 4.
There are also a set of weekly tiebreakers that I encourage you to participate in since Bruins Nation will be announcing weekly winners as well as an overall winner for the season. An example of one of the tiebreakers this week is to predict the score for the game between Arizona State and last place Southern Cal.
Joining Bruins Nation's Pac-12 Pick 'Em is simple. Head over to Yahoo's College Football Pick 'Em and sign up for our group using the information provided below.

Remember to make your picks at least 5 minutes before the start of each contest. This week's first game is Boise St. at Virginia with a kickoff time of 5:00 PM PDT on Friday.
Finally, don't worry if you're unable to participate any given week, or if you're late to sign up and miss the first week of the competition. At the end of the season, your lowest weekly score will be dropped. However, don't use that as an excuse to put off signing up for Pac-12 Pick 'Em. As Joe would say, important bragging rights are at stake!
Have fun, good luck, and Go Bruins!
