Tonight, the unranked UCLA Bruins take on their cross town nemesis the (lower ranked) Southern Cal Boys of Troy.

All kidding aside, the Trojans come into this contest with a better record (14-3), than the Bruins (11-6). And, they also beat the almighty Arizona Wildcats that so many people thought was a turning point for us. It did, however take the Trojans four overtimes to accomplish this. So, if you believe in transitive properties, we are slightly better than the Trojans by that comparison.

That being said, the Trojans did manage to beat WSU 90-77 while we fell ignominiously 85-78. The Trojans are 3-1 in conference play, while we are a mediocre 2-2 heading into tonight's game.

If there is any consolation to be found, it is that we are playing at home. The UCLA Bruins are 9-1 at home this season. And, we have won each of the last six games, and 10 of the last 11 meetings against USC. UCLA posted a 3-0 record against USC last season. UCLA has won each of its last two games against USC in Pauley Pavilion.
