There are five college football games tonight. That's the good news.
The bad news is that, basically, four of the five will all be going on at the same exact time.
The one additional piece of good news is that, of those four, really only the Virginia Tech-Pittsburgh game is worth watching.
And, by having four of tonight's five games being played early, the Pac-12 matchup between the UC Berkeley Golden Bears and the Southern Cal Trogans stands alone as tonight's top game.
But, it won't start until most of the East Coast has gone to bed since kickoff isn't until 7:30pm PT.
Hey, at least you know that means that #Pac12AfterDark will be trending on Twitter later.
As for the game itself, I guess we should all be rooting for the Golden Bears because they are our "other favorite team" this week since they are playing Southern Cal.
Personally, I find it hard to root for those guys guys. I couldn't really stand rooting for them when they played Hawai'i in Australia to start the season.
Maybe it's because they've been so bad historically. Maybe it's because they still try to cling to their "original" status even after UCLA has passed Berkeley as a school on most academic fronts.
I probably won't bother watching this one much because I expect the Trogans to dismantle the Air Raid offense of Sonny Dykes. I'm sure I've got something better on my Tivo.
But, if you're watching tonight CFB action, you've come to the right place because this is your Thursday CFB Open Thread.
