Thurs/Fri CFB: Can Houston Spoil the CFP For Louisville?

Louisville may be ranked 5th in the current CFP Rankings, but don't count out Tom Herman and his Houston Cougars.

University of Houston coach and Simi Valley HS grad Tom Herman should be on Dan Guerrero's speed dial.

There's no doubt that the Louisville Cardinals have been one of the most exciting teams to watch this season and tonight's game should be no exception.

The Cardinals are up to #5 in the CFP Rankings and, tonight, they head to Houston to take on Tom Herman and the Cougars.

For Louisville, they look to keep their CFP hopes alive while the Cougars will look to play spoiler. Make no mistake: the Cougars are a very good football team and Herman is responsible for that. (See, Dan? Coaching matters.)

Tomorrow night has two games of interest to Bruin fans. The first game features Memphis at Cincinnati. UCLA will travel to Memphis for the third game of the season next year and, while many things will certainly change between now and then, it's still a good opportunity to take a look at a future UCLA opponent.

The later game tomorrow night has UNLV travelling to Boise State in a Mountain West matchup. Can Tony Sanchez and the Rebels get a win over a Top 25 opponent? It could get interesting.

Here's the full schedule for tonight and tomorrow.
