Portland Pilots vs. UCLA Bruins Wooden Legacy Game Thread

Last season, Portland lost almost twice as many games as they won when they were 12-20 overall. After the season, the school fired long-time head coach Eric Reveno and replaced him with former Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns head coach Terry Porter.

With just 3 college games under Porter's belt, his Pilots have already racked up three wins or 25% of last season's win total. Porter is emphasizing defense with his team and they are near the top nationally in several defensive categories.

Whether they will be able to sustain that over the course of the season remains to be seen, just as the same can be said of UCLA's hot start.

But, tonight should make for an interesting game due to UCLA's high-powered offense going up against Portland's stingy defense.
