Last night, as Ed Orgeron was leading the LSU Tigers to a win over Texas A&M, there were reports that Houston coach Tom Herman has a deal in place to take over LSU.

But, while that drama was going on, Herman and his Houston Cougars were in Memphis preparing for today's first game of the day against the Tigers.

Elsewhere, today, the Apple Cup and the Pac-12 North championship are up for grabs when Washington visits Washington State on Fox at 12:30 pm PT and the day concludes with another Pac-12 matchup. That one will be between Arizona and Arizona State in Tucson.

Here's the full slate of today's college football action.
