NCAA Sweet 16 Open Thread

The second weekend of March Madness starts off with 4 games Thursday and 4 games Friday.

The Sweet 16 kicks off today with two games featuring a matchup between a pair of 2 and 3 seeds. First up are the Villanova Wildcats against the Miami Hurricanes on CBS. That's followed about a half hour later by a Big 12 matchup between Texas A&M and Oklahoma. In today's nitecaps, the South No. 1 seed Kansas Jayhawks face the No. 5 seed Maryland Terps while, out here in the West, No. 1 seed Oregon will take on No. 4 seed Duke.

On Friday, things will kick off in Chicago at the Midwest Regional where the No. 1 seed Virginia Cavaliers will face the No. 4 seed Iowa State Cyclones, followed soon after by Notre Dame and Wisconsin from Philadelphia. Friday's nitecaps feature North Carolina vs. Indiana and Gonzaga vs. Syracuse.
