What's Bruin in the world of UCLA sports on this fine Friday? We have an exhibition game, season openers, and another game that counts as we head into the weekend. Here's What's Bruin . . .

Men's Basketball

The Sydney Morning Herald has a nice piece on UCLA and Lonzo Ball in advance of UCLA's exhibition clash against Melbourne United. UCLA tips off against Melbourne tonight in the wee hours of the morning tonight, at 2 a.m. PT (that's 7 p.m. Saturday Melbourne time). Check back with BN around midnight for an open thread for the game.

Men's Soccer

The #16 UCLA Men's Soccer team begins its 2016 campaign today at the Stub Hub Center against #4 Maryland. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. PT. The Bruins are predicted to win the PAC 12 and the Terps are predicted to win the Big 1G, so it should be a great contest. Look for BN's preview of the game and the 2016 squad later today.

Women's Volleyball

Another team starting its season today is the UCLA Women's Volleyball team. The Bruins face Niagra in the LMU Invitational at 4 p.m. PT, and play two more games in the invitational tomorrow. BN will have a thread for the game this afternoon.

Women's Soccer

Last, but not least, the #15 UCLA Women's Soccer team takes on #11 Texas A&M at 4:30 p.m. PT this afternoon at College Station, Texas. It will be hot (low 80s) and humid (low 80s), and the competition and the elements should prove challenging for the Bruins. BN will have you covered with a preview of the game and open thread this afternoon.

And that is What's Bruin with UCLA sports today.

Go Bruins!!!
