This is it, Bruin fans. UCLA. Stanford. Rose Bowl.
It's hard to believe that the conference opener can be such an important game.
Well, an eight-game losing streak will do that to you. So will never beating a team in four seasons.
That's what Jim Mora is looking at today. In order for the team to take the next step towards becoming an elite squad, Mora and the coaching staff absolutely need to find a way to beat David Shaw and Stanford.
Today probably represents the best chance UCLA has had since Mora took over.
Stanford has lost a lot of talent on the offensive and defensive lines and Cardinal QB Kevin Hogan graduated.
Now, all the Bruins need to do is stop Heisman hopeful Christian McCaffrey. That's all. Shouldn't be too hard, right?
This season, we are proud to, again, have today's audio feed for everyone who opts to use the TuneIn player embedded below. For optimum results, start the audio feed then pause your DVR and sync them up together so you don't have to listen to Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit on ABC if you don't want to, although, personally, I think these two guys are the best announcers in college football today.
Game Time Weather Forecast
A mild 75 degrees and clear with 50% humidity. Over the course of the game the temperature should drop into the upper-60s by the end of the game.
