Today should be a good test of Steve Alford's adaptability as a head coach.

Allonzo Trier has been ruled eligible for today's game and will play in his first game of this season. Trier has been previously ruled ineligible after failing a drug test. But, the NCAA re-instated Trier late yesterday which means that Steve Alford and the coaching staff may not have had enough time to prepared for Trier playing.

That will force Alford to make some adjustments on the fly today. Let's hope that he and the team are able to adjust and that they are able to come out of this game with another one in the lefthand column.
