Both UCLA and Kansas State got off to a slow start, but UCLA was able to pull ahead by the end of the half with a pair of touchdowns and a field goal. It was a game time decision to start Devon Modster, and according to analysts, may have hurt Modster’s practice time over the last week.

Well, it became apparent as the second quarter got rolling that Modster was able to shake off the cobwebs and hit his receivers. Both Jordan Lasley and Theo Howard have found the endzone, while the Wildcats have only made it once across the goal line. Stopping the run is still an issue, but K State’s defense just hasn’t had enough moxy to stop the Bruins so far.

Will Modster be able to keep the momentum going in the second half? Jedd Fisch seems to be calling the right plays and the offense will be the difference maker in this game.
