There’s some great news for UCLA basketball today from Thuc Nhi Nguyen of InsideSoCal and the LA Daily News.
Steve Alford says he's expecting Ike Anigbogu to play Sunday. Was close to playing Friday. Said Lonzo Ball and his hip is feeling "great."

Two quick points:
- Ike Anigbogu gives us a full bench. It also gives us a different look with a shot blocker and good offensive rebounder who can roll strong to the basket. In many ways the opposite of Welsh who is a great mid-range shooter and good defensive rebounder. UCLA will need Ike to play well as they move forward.
- I am sure Lonzo Ball would say “great” if he was on crutches. I hope it’s true, but regardless, I love the kids toughness. Ball is banged up with a hip bruise and a taped thumb. He’s still a great player.
Go Bruins!
