When the UCLA Women’s Water Polo team opened their season in January at the LouStrong Invitational, they defeated San Jose State 20-1. That moved UCLA’s record against the Spartans to 34-0.

Today, the Bruins go for their 35th win against them. While SJSU had their best weekend of the season last weekend, UCLA should be able to win this one easily again.

UCLA opens MPSF play today having won eleven of their first twelve games. The Bruins’ lone loss came last weekend against Southern Cal in the semifinals of the Barbara Kalbus Invitational where UCLA lost 10-9. They got back to their winning ways by defeating UC Berkeley 12-11 to take third place in the tournament.

Bruin redshirt senior Rachel Fattal has moved into fourth place on the UCLA all-time scoring list with 195. She is just six goals behind Katie Rulon who finished her Bruin career with 201.
