The Titans traded up to get Brown at this point in the draft. It’s the second year in a row that the Titans have picked a Bruin linebacker. Last year, the Titans selected Aaron Wallace in the seventh round of the draft.
And, of course, you’ll remember that former UCLA defensive coordinator Lou Spanos is the Titans linebacker coach. Spanos was the DC during Brown’s freshman season.
Brown is a relentless tackler with a good nose for the football. That’s how he became UCLA’s leading tackler the past two seasons.
Congratulations, Jayon!
Go Bruins!
