Bumped from a fan post - BN Eds.

Jim Bush, UCLA's greatest track and field coach, died this week at age 90. He coached us from 1965 to 1984, seven years of which I was a student. He won 5 NCAA championships, including 3 in a row while I was there. He coached 30 Olympians.

A great moment was watching the UCLA-USC dual meet at Drake Stadium, with the Bruins about to lose, when freshman Willie Banks jumped for a school record to win it for the academic school.
