NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-First Round-Buffalo vs Arizona Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

Three Pac-12 teams. Three Pac-12 losses. And, just like that every Pac-12 team has been eliminated from the 2018 NCAA Tournament.

But, there is some good news for Bruin fans.

This morning, Wichita State lost to Marshall, 81-75. Why do Bruin fans care? Because, now, Shocker coach Gregg Marshall’s team is done playing in this year’s tournament, meaning that if UCLA wanted to take a run at him, he would likely be willing to listen at this point.

Of course, that means that UCLA AD Dan Guerrero would need to decide to fire Steve Alford.

Later today, another favorite potential replacement for Alford leads his Xavier Musketeers against Texas Southern while Creighton will play Kansas State. In the Midwest bracket, Syracuse, who defeated ASU in a First Four game, faces TCU and 3-seed Michigan State takes on Bucknell.

Here is today’s full slate of games:
