March Madness resumes today as the Sweet 16 begin play. There are four games on tap today and four more tomorrow.
Today’s games begin at 4:07 pm PT when the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers face the Nevada Wolfpack. The big takeway from this game, of course, is that today’s winner will have done something that UCLA Men’s Basketball coach Steve Alford has never done. They will have made the Elite Eight.
Yet, somehow, some way, Alford still has a job, but I digress.
The second game today features a matchup between the Texas A&M Aggies and the Michigan Wolverines. This may prove to be the game not to miss as it features two really good basketball teams, but the second game from Staples Center may actually be even better.
Today’s third game isn’t necessarily a bad game. It just doesn’t match up to the Texas A&M-Michigan game. This one features the Kansas State Wildcats against the Kentucky Wildcats. I’m going to make a bold prediction for this game and say that the Wildcats will win this game. Hahaha!
The final game tonight will pit the Florida State Seminoles against the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Florida State has surprised some so far this year, but I think Mark Few’s squad will come through in the end of this one. This game may be a little better than the Aggies vs. Wolverines. At the very least, this one should be interesting.
Here are all the details for tonight’s action:
