Tonight’s College Football Friday matchups start with the #20 Virginia Cavaliers paying a visit to the Miami Hurricanes, and Miami is favored by about a field goal at this point. Virginia is 2-0 in the ACC while Miami is 0-2, and it’s no wonder, after turning the ball over five times last weekend in a loss to the Virginia Tech Hokies. The Miami quarterback, Jarren Williams, will likely be out with a shoulder injury sustained in last week’s contest. The ‘Canes should be alright, as back up N’Kosi Perry started a few games in 2018 and could easily slide into the starter role again.
In the #Pac12AfterDark game, the Colorado Buffaloes will take on the #13 Oregon Ducks in Eugene. Colorado is unranked, but has a defense that Oregon should not take for granted and one of the more talented offenses the Ducks have faced so far. However, if Oregon wants to stay in the hunt for the Pac-12 title, they will need to put up points and give quarterback Justin Herbert time to throw. After winning last week but only scoring 17 points at home coming off a bye week, expect Oregon to open up the playbook a bit.
