How to Watch UCLA Bruins at Stanford Cardinal: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More

The Bruins travel to Northern California to face the Cardinal in a nationally televised game.

Is twelve the magic number? Can the UCLA Bruins finally snap the Stanford Cardinal’s winning streak, which now stands at eleven games? This year’s Stanford team is the weakest in years. So, it represents UCLA’s best chance to snap the streak, but, after UCLA’s last game, it’s equally possible that the Bruins will not win another game this season.

Let’s look at the keys to tonight’s game.

Keys to the Game

1. Make tonight’s game a shootout.
Stanford’s rushing defense is tied for 36th best in the nation while the pass defense is 113th. UCLA needs to resist Chip Kelly’s tendency to want to run the ball by airing it out early and often.

2. Throw away from Paulson Adebo.
Paulson Adebo is Stanford’s best cornerback. He leads the team with nine pass breakups. No one else has more than two. So, by throwing to targets who aren’t being covered by Adebo, UCLA stands a better chance of completing passes.

3. Protect the Quarterback.
The offensive line needs to keep the Stanford pass rush off the Bruin quarterback, be it Austin Burton or Dorian Thompson-Robinson. If the Bruin quarterback has time to throw, look for tonight’s game to be a close one.
