There are just two games on tap for tonight. Let’s take a look.
First up is the #16 UCF Knights visiting the Cincinnati Bearcats. This should actually be a really good game between a pair of one-loss AAC teams. On one hand, you’ve got Central Florida which responded to their one-point loss to Pitt by thumping UConn, 56-21, last week. On the other hand, you’ve got the Bearcats who have pounded Miami of Ohio and Marshall since they were shutout by Ohio State, 42-0. WIth the Bearcats at home, I think Cincinnati might pull off an upset in this one. This game kicks off at 5 pm on ESPN.
The other game tonight has the New Mexico Lobos travelling to play the San Jose State Spartans on CBS Sports Network at 7 pm. If there were another game that started later, I’d probably suggest you opt for that instead, but this is the only other game tonight after the UCF-Cincinnati game ends. This game should be a good matchup on paper at least since both teams are 2-2. This just isn’t a marquee matchup.
This is your College Football Friday open thread.
Go Bruins!!
