College Football Late Saturday: Can #4 Ohio State Stay Unbeaten?

This evening, there are several games worth checking out before and after the UCLA Bruins game.

First up at 4:30 pm PT, ABC has a Top 25 matchup between the #25 Michigan State Spartans and the #4 Ohio State Buckeyes. Both teams come into tonight’s game at 2-0 in Big Ten play, meaning that tonight’s game is a battle for first place in the Big Ten East. The Buckeyes are a perfect 5-0 at this point while the Spartans are 4-1 with their only loss so far coming in week three when they lost to Arizona State. While the Spartans will play hard, Ohio State will probably take this game. Of course, you’ll have to watch the end of this one at halftime of the UCLA-Oregon State game after missing most of the second half to watch the Bruins.

Alternatively, there’s a Pac-12 matchup between the UC Berkeley Golden Bears and the #13 Oregon Ducks on Fox which kicks off at 5 pm. UC Berkeley fell from the ranks of the unbeaten when they were beaten by Arizona State, 24-17, last week. On the other hand, Oregon has won three straight after losing their season opener to Auburn. This should be a very good conference game as these teams battle it out for first place in the North.

Later on, the #15 Washington Huskies visit the Stanford Cardinal in a must-win game for both teams. Washington needs a win in order to avoid falling into third place in the Pac-12 North. While Stanford needs a win in order to remain a viable contender in the North. This #Pac12AfterDark match-up kicks off at 7:30 pm PT on ESPN. So, once the UCLA game is over, you can tune in to watch most of the second half of this game.

Here’s the complete list of tonight’s late games:
