College Football Late Saturday: #7 Oregon Ducks Look to Soar Over Southern Cal

The Ducks haven’t lost a Pac-12 conference game yet this season. Tonight, they visit Southern Cal looking to stay unbeaten in the Pac-12.

With the early games now in the books, let’s take a look at today’s late games.

At 4 pm PT, the #11 Auburn Tigers host the Ole Miss Rebels on ESPN. Auburn has lost two of their last three games including last week’s game against LSU. Meanwhile, Ole Miss has lost its last two games and four of their last five games. For that reason, I’m expecting an easy win today by Auburn.

At 4:30 pm PT, ABC has what may be today’s best late matchup when the #24 Memphis Tigers, who are 7-1 overall, host the undefeated #15 SMU Mustangs. I think today’s the day that SMU falls from the ranks of the unbeaten because the Tigers are tough at home and I just don’t think the Mustangs are going to finish the regular season undefeated.

Then, at 5 pm PT, every Bruin fan will be cheering for the #7 Oregon Ducks. That’s because the Ducks will be in LA today to face the Southern Cal Trojans in a #Pac12AfterDark game. Just like today’s game between Utah and Washington can help the Bruins move up in the Pac-12 South standings, assuming UCLA can beat Colorado, so can this game. In fact, a loss by both Utah and Southern Cal would let the Bruins move into a first place tie with a win today. So, go Ducks!
