College Football Saturday: #9 Penn State Will Battle #2 Ohio State Today

It’s also “Cupcake Week” for a couple of ranked SEC teams.

Welcome to Week 13 of the 2019 college football

season, or as the SEC calls it “Cupcake Week”! That’s because this morning the #5 Alabama Crimson Tide host Western Carolina at 9 am on ESPN. Something tells me a 66-3 score isn’t going to help ‘Bama get back into the top four this week. Maybe it will teach them a lesson about scheduling.

They aren’t the only SEC school with an easy win this week. The #12 Auburn Tigers will be on the SEC Network today with a game against Samford.

It goes without saying that the game to watch this morning is between the #9 Penn State Nittany Lions and the #2 Ohio State Buckeyes at 9 am on Fox. An upset here might be just the thing needed to push either the Oregon Ducks or Utah Utes into the top four.

It would also help if the #4 Georgia Bulldogs are upset by the Texas A&M Aggies. These two teams play in Athens at 12:30 pm PT on CBS. Of course, Bruin fans may be a little too busy watching the UCLA Bruins and the USC Trojans battle it out at that time.

Here’s the full list of today’s games.
