College Football Saturday: Michigan Hosts Ohio State This Morning

Plus, Alabama faces Auburn in the Iron Bowl.

NCAA Football: Michigan at Ohio State Greg Bartram-USA TODAY Sports

This weekend’s college football feast continues with another 46 games and today’s action kicks off with a doozy.

At 9 am PT on Fox, the #13 Michigan Wolverines will host the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes at the Big House. While the Buckeyes have already won the Big Ten East, they still need to go in to Ann Arbor and win today’s game because a loss by the Buckeyes will upend the entire College Football Playoff rankings since Ohio State is currently #1.

Meanwhile, both the #3 Clemson Tigers and the #4 Georgia Bulldogs play non-conference in-state rivalry games. The Tigers visit the South Carolina Gamecocks this morning on ESPN while the Bulldogs visit the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on ABC. The Bulldogs would seem to have the easier game because the ACC has been weak this year and the Yellow Jackets are in last place in the ACC Coastal. At 4-7, South Carolina hasn’t exactly set the world on fire this season, but they are fourth in the SEC East.

Then, at 12:30 pm PT, CBS has the Iron Bowl between the #5 Alabama Crimson Tide and the #15 Auburn Tigers. This is a must-win for Alabama as the Crimson Tide try to get back into the Top Four in the CFP rankings.

The Pac-12 North may already be decided but that doesn’t mean that the Civil War between the #14 Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers will be any less of a battle. The Beavers have been the biggest surprise in the Pac-12 this season. So, this game should at least be worth checking out at 1 pm PT if you have Pac-12 Networks.

Here’s today’s full slate of games:
