In the first of the CFP semifinals, Jalen Hurts will look to beat Heisman winner Joe Burrow and the LSU Tigers.

This afternoon, the two College Football Playoff semifinals will be played. In the first game, the Oklahoma Sooners square off against the LSU Tigers in the Peach Bowl at 1 pm PT.

I may be one of the few people who still don’t think that the LSU Tigers will win the CFP, but I’m just not convinced yet. I am a big believer in what Lincoln Riley has done at Oklahoma. Maybe that’s because I’ve watched the Sooners dismantle the Bruins the past two seasons. I’m not sure.

I do think that Jalen Hurts is an amazing quarterback.

That’s not a knock on Joe Burrow. After all, Burrow led his team to a perfect 13-0 mark so far this season. It earned him the Heisman Trophy as the best player in college football.

I just think that Hurts is dynamic.

How dynamic? Dynamic enough that I think that he will lead the Sooners past the Tigers this afternoon.

It won’t be a blowout. It will definitely be a close game, but I think that Oklahoma comes out ahead at the end.
