When the final gun sounds this evening in Atlanta, the NFL season and your Super Bowl party will both be over, but that isn’t the only football celebration going on this week.
This Wednesday, February 6th is National Signing Day, the day that any high school football players who opted not to sign during the Early Signing Period in December can sign their National Letters of Intent and commit in writing to the school of their choice.
As of now, UCLA has three recruits who have verbally committed to the Bruins and are expected to sign on Wednesday. They are Michael Martinez, Noah Keeter and Charles Njoku, but Chip Kelly and staff have been working hard to recruiting more guys for the 2019 recruiting class. Hopefully, the Bruins will land a few surprises come Wednesday.
In years past, “Westwood Bob” Selvin has hosted a National Signing Day celebration for Bruin fans and I’m happy to announce that, after taking a break, he is resurrecting it for this year. Here are the details:
WHAT: 2019 UCLA Football Signing Day Celebration
WHEN: 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm, Wednesday, February 6, 2019
WHERE: FELLOW, 1071 Glendon Ave., Westwood Village
While there is NO CHARGE for admission, you are free to order food and drinks at your own expense. Also, due to limited space, you MUST RSVP in order to gain admittance.
