After being talked about for months, the Los Angeles Lakers have finally completed a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans which will send former UCLA Bruins guard Lonzo Ball to the Pelicans, along with Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks including the number four pick overall in 2019 Draft, according to a report from ESPN.
The Pelicans have agreed to a deal to trade Anthony Davis to the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks – including the No. 4 overall in 2019 Draft, league sources tell ESPN.

And, so, Lonzo’s time with the hometown Lakers has come to an unceremonious end.
Of course, that can mean only one thing on this Saturday before Father’s Day: Lonzo’s father LaVar Ball shot off his mouth as he is prone to do. According to ESPN’s Lakers reporter Ohm Youngmisuk, the elder Ball is guaranteeing the Lakers will never win another NBA title. Youngmisuk quotes Ball:
I guarantee... it will be the worst move the Lakers ever did in their life and they will never win another championship. Guarantee it.
Youngmisuk tweeted video of LaVar making his latest bold claim.

Time to go, indeed.
And, just like that, Southern California appears to be free of LaVar and his family.
Go Bruins!!!
