Well, it took a pair of penalty kicks by Megan Rapinoe for Team USA to get past Spain on Monday. Today’s game looks to be even tougher as the USWNT will face this year’s host France. The crowd will undoubtedly be pro-France as a result. Kickoff is at Noon PT on Fox.

The big challenge for the US today is overcoming what will be a very partisan crowd supporting the home team. Alyssa Naeher will be in goal again for the US. Naeher has only allowed one goal so far in this World Cup. Unfortunately, that came in the last match against Spain, but, hopefully, Naeher will be able to rebound and shut the French out.

Look for former Bruin Sam Mewis to continue her strong play as these teams battle it out to see who gets to play England in the Semifinals.
