College Football Late Saturday: #16 Oregon Faces Stanford Tonight

Including the UCLA game, there are three #Pac12AfterDark games tonight, plus a Top Ten matchup between Notre Dame and Georgia.

As we move into today’s late games, a Pac-12 matchup stands out.

No, I’m not talking about tonight’s UCLA Bruins vs. Washington State Cougars game, Silly.

I’m talking about the #16 Oregon Ducks and the Stanford Cardinal which kicks off at 4 pm PT on ESPN. So, if you tune into this one, you won’t even need to change channels for the Bruins’ game (unless the Oregon-Stanford game runs long and you need to do the ol’ ESPN Shuffle). Of course, #Pac12AfterDark will be in play during the second half.

A little later at 5 pm PT, we’ve got a Top Ten matchup between the #7 Notre Dame Fighting Irish visiting the #3 Georgia Bulldogs. It seems strange to call this a playoff elimination game, given that it’s being played in September, but it very could be. The winner will likely be in the Top Five and the loser will probably drop out of the Top Ten. That might make this one a game to watch before the UCLA game.

The last game I’m going to mention is a true #Pac12AfterDark matchup between the Colorado Buffaloes and the #24 Arizona State Sun Devils. The Buffs started off 2-0 under Mel Turner before losing to Air Force last weekend. Meanwhile, ASU continues to flourish under Herm Edwards. When the UCLA game is out of reach, feel free to check this one out on Pac-12 Networks. It kicks off at 7 pm PT.

Here’s tonight’s full late slate:
