College Football Late Saturday: #6 LSU Battles #9 Texas Tonight

Plus, there’s a pair of #Pac12AfterDark games which should prove interesting.

Today’s late games feature several very good matchups and they are definitely worth tuning in to see.

The game of the night has to be the Top Ten battle between the #6 LSU Tigers and the #9 Texas Longhorns. This game will be in Austin and will kickoff at 4:30 pm PT on ABC. Both teams enter this game looking to prove they belong in the Top Ten and this one looks to be a battle worthy of primetime.

Besides that game, the other late games which Bruin fans will want to keep an eye on are both Pac-12 conference games which kickoff at 7:30 pm PT. That means #Pac12AfterDark will be in play for these games.

The first Pac-12 game features the UC Berkeley Golden Bears visiting the #14 Washington Huskies. Can UC Berkeley pull of the upset? Probably not, but don’t tell that to fans of the Bears because their swagger has increased after they beat UC Davis to start the season, even though I’m not sure why. Look for Chris Petersen’s squad to win this game by at least two TDs. This game can be found on FS1.

Meanwhile, over on ESPN, the #23 Stanford Cardinal will visit the United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to play the Southern Cal Trojans. Talk about a game that Bruins fans might want no one to win! This would probably be it, but the hatred for Southern Cal is still stronger than the sting from losing eleven in a row to the Cardinal. So, UCLA Bruins’ fans will suck this one up and hope this one goes to triple overtime with Stanford coming out on top. The only thing which could possibly make a game like that better would be if Swannie tarmaced Clay Helton, but that’s impossible since it’s a home game for Southern Cal.

Here are all of today’s late games:
