The UCLA Bruins are set to make history during the Chip Kelly era when they play the USC Trojans today at the Rose Bowl. The Bruins are a game above .500 for the first time in the Kelly era and no matter the outcome, they’ll finish with the best winning percentage of any team in the Kelly era at Westwood.

The team can go out on a high note from the shortened 2020 Pac-12 football season with a win that could subsequently knock out the USC Trojans from the Pac-12 title game.

USC enters the game at a perfect 4-0 and fresh off a victory over Washington State on Sunday while UCLA knocked off Arizona State a week ago. The Bruins are primed for shifting their entire focus and trajectory of the Pac-12, specifically the Pac-12 South.

They’ll have to overcome some serious personnel discrepancies when they battle it out against USC but if there’s one thing we know about rivalry games, it’s that anything is possible.
