UCLA vs Stanford: How to watch, open thread

Let’s close out this season on a high note

NCAA Football: Southern California at UCLA Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The UCLA Bruins take on the Stanford Cardinal today in what has become the official last game for both programs. The Cardinal and Bruins have announced that they will both forgo any potential bowl game opportunities and therefore, the Saturday, December 19 matchup will end their seasons.

Stanford, winners of three straight, are riding a hot streak into Westwood while the Bruins have dropped their three games this season by a combined margin of just 14 points.

UCLA is 3-3 while the Cardinal sit firm at 3-2. With the game set as the season finale, the Bruins can look to finish a season with not only a record above .500 for the first time in Chip Kelly’s tenure as head coach but also match the season-long win total from a season ago in which the Bruins went 4-8.

There is a lot to play for in this one as the Bruins will look to send their seniors and departing upperclassmen out with a victory.
