It didn’t take long on Saturday for the New York Giants to pull the trigger on their selection of CB Darnay Holmes with the 110th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Giants got themselves an incredible player with terrific value at a position vital for success in today’s NFL. Holmes joins an extremely young secondary in New York that also includes fellow rookie Xavier McKinney out of Alabama.

The Giants also took DeAndre Baker out of Georgia in the first round last year as well as Julian Love in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft as the youth movement in their secondary continues. Holmes is a solid addition and should play valuable snaps early on in his career.
I like it. I like it a lot — what about you?
