The UCLA class of 2021 got a big pickup over the weekend, literally.
Landing a three-star linebacker prospect who stands at 6’5, 215 pounds certainly qualifies that and that’s just who Devin Aupiu is.

Aupiu is the country’s 32nd-best outside linebacker prospect according to 247Sports and the 40th-best player in the state of California. He ranked within the top 500 players nationally and sits as a consensus three-star prospect from Pacific High School in Oxnard.
He had at least eight offers from other big-name schools including Pac-12 rivals Arizona State, Cal. Oregon State, Utah and most importantly, USC.
Aupiu has had an impressive two-year stretch with some fun film to watch from both his sophomore and junior seasons. He even helped lead his Pacific HS team to the Division 2-A Championship lat season, holding McClymonds to just six points in the title game.
Thanks to our friends at Hudl, we can take a look at those highlights:
Welcome to the Bruin family, Devin! #4sUp
