We’re in Day __ of quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic but we’re still seeing athletic news and stories pop up across the country and especially here out west.

22 Bruins named scholar-athletes
The UCLA track and field team saw a whopping 22 athletes earn the scholar-athlete distinction from the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. Considering the qualifications to earn the distinction, that’s quite an awesome list.

UCLA basketball offers two 2023 prospects
Head coach Mick Cronin is utilizing his free time to evaluate future Bruins and offered two for the class of 2023 this week. Guard Mikey Williams and combo-guard Simeon Wilcher were each offered a UCLA scholarship.
