This period of time is a time in which everyone needs some good, wholesome news. While coronavirus rips through our lives as we knew them, it’s always positive to see those in high-powered positions like that of All-Time Great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar doing whatever they can to help out those in need.
Abdul-Jabbar was on scene during an exchange of goggles he was responsible for, giving UCLA Health 900 pairs of safety goggles. UCLA Dr. Eric Esrailian accepted the donations on behalf of UCLA Health as the doctors, nurses and staff are combatting the COVID-19 pandemic day in and day out.

Thank you for donating Kareem! Thanks for setting a great example.
And to the doctors, nurses, staff and everyone at UCLA Health, thank you for everything that you are doing. You all are the true heroes.
