QB Kajiya Hollawayne commits to UCLA

Hollawayne is the 20th-ranked dual-threat QB for 2021

The Bruins class of 2021 received a boost to close the month of May, but it got arguably its biggest bump to date this past weekend.

Three-star and consensus 20th-ranked dual-threat quarterback Kajiya Hollawayne committed to the UCLA Bruins via Twitter.

It’s important to note that Hollawayne’s commitment to UCLA came four days after Miller Moss, the former UCLA target and offer, committed to USC. Hollawayne likely saw an opportunity to be the future at the position for the Bruins and jumped at the chance.

He’s the sixth commit for the class of 2021 and solidified the Bruins class in the top five among their Pac-12 counterparts.

Standing at 6’3, 206, Hollawayne ranks as the state of California’s 67th-best player, the 20th-best dual-threat quarterback and the 704th-ranked player nationally for this class, all according to 247Sports Composite Ranking.

He had at least 10 scholarship offers and led his high school team to the CIF Southern Section Division 3 semifinals a year ago. Hollawayne has thrown for 6,780 passing yards and 64 touchdowns in his three seasons while rushing for another 1,871 and 28 rushing scores. He still has his senior season at San Jacinto High School to increase those gaudy numbers as well.

Welcome to Westwood, Kajiya!
