The U.S. Open Women’s Singles Tournament has rapidly gone by, just as quickly as Jennifer Brady’s opponents have fallen. Brady has advanced to her first ever U.S. Open and Major tournament semifinals and will face off against No. 4 seed Naomi Osaka.

Brady has won five consecutive straight-set matches to reach this point, looking ever-so impressive in doing so.

She opened the tournament with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Anna Blinkova. Brady followed that up with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Catherine Bellis, a 6-3, 6-3 win over 32-seed Caroline Garcia and then a 6-1, 6-4 victory over 17-seed Angelique Kerber.

In the quarterfinals, Brady defeated Yulia Putintseva, 6-3, 6-2, to advance to take on Osaka.

Osaka hasn’t had quite the string of successes in the U.S. Open, but certainly has done her part to reach the semifinals. She was forced to three sets after dropping a tiebreak in the third round against Marta Kostyuk, and this came after she was forced to go three sets in the opening round against Misaki Doi. Osaka has played just one seeded opponent so far compared to Brady’s three.

The U.S. Open Semifinals will be played at Arthur Ashe Stadium at 7:00 pm ET (local time), 4:00 pm PT.
