How can you claim ignorance as a coach. When your starting DE and captain tells me he didn't want to do the play at the end of the game. ☕️
— Caleb Benenoch (@CalebBenenoch74) January 3, 2015You do have to wonder, why do you have huge d-linemen in on a kneeldown if we didn't suspect something was up.
Just a terrific young man who has his head, heart and priorities straight. Comparing 'Johnny Football' ugliness to the grace and character of Brett, Bruins everywhere should be so proud of the way he conducts himself and well-represents our great UCLA society. Thank you Brett for your service! You the man!
?Stress fracture. Just when the team was coming together.
Just checked the weather. Looks like the beautiful weather has ended and the next couple of days, including Friday, should be cold and wet. If you're going...be prepared! http://www.weather.com/weather/5day/l/USTX1200:1:US
Pretty damning article on BRO. Money quote (one of many): "What was UCLA thinking when they made this hire and, to compound it, the monstrous and unprecedented buyout? As I said, I’m not a program insider, so on this point I’m speculating, but it doesn’t seem very complicated to conclude: UCLA either hired Alford without full knowledge of his background and personality or, perhaps, in spite of it. So it’s either a case that the UCLA powers-that-be were beyond remiss in doing their due diligence or they knew it all and they uncannily thought it was worth it because they believed Steve Alford was a homerun hire. Either way it was outrageously inept and a massive fail."
I've got to give all sides of the hoops story. Brown appears to still be positive on UCLA. Remember Howland's 2011-12 before he pulled Shabazz, Kyle, Jordan and Tony.
Take it for what it's worth.
