This Week’s Headlines in the UCLA Twitterverse: Independence Day Edition

Taking a look at how Bruins spent their holiday.

@UCLAMBB

For some, the day after Fourth of July is another day off, for others it’s back to the grind. To keep the festivities rolling, let’s take a look at what some of our favorite Bruins were up to this Independence Day.

First of all, UCLA Football posted this pretty sweet graphic on Twitter to wish Bruins far and wide a Happy Fourth:

It isn’t Independence Day without ice cream and, while his order was a bit bland, his playing definitely isn’t.

Of course, there’s the inevitable, “Did you feel it?” was going around yesterday as California was rocked by the largest earthquake in 20 years.

Meanwhile, UCLA softball pitcher Megan Faraimo has not let up even though school is out:

And neither have some UCLA women’s soccer players:

While most of us are taking time off to enjoy the holiday, UCLA gymnastics alumna Hallie Mossett is still hard at work.

And, so is UCLA Men’s Basketball.

Let’s not forget, the ESPY’s are coming up next Wednesday and Katelyn Ohashi’s viral routine is a finalist.

While this was posted about a week ago, we’d be remiss if we didn’t include this awesome photo of our own UCLA Football alum Brett Hundley in Greece:

Wish we were with you, buddy.

Finally, there was one important tweet left out from the Twitterverse Graduation edition. It looks like Earl Watson has his diploma!

“To save you some time, here’s Earl’s Instagram post that’s referenced in his tweet.

Congratulations, Earl!

Go Bruins!
