After last week’s game against Washington State turned into a shootout, tonight’s game looks like another likely one.
That’s because Khalil Tate is a dual-threat quarterback who can beat you in the air or on the ground. Of course, we know that Noel Mazzone’s offenses tend to score a lot of points, but they also have a tendency to take their foot off the gas as Texas A&M did against UCLA when Mazzone and head coach Kevin Sumlin coached the Aggies.
And, don’t forget, by Mazzone’s own admission, he calls roughly the same three plays each game and just mixes up the order. Let’s hope Bruin defensive coordinator Jerry Azzinaro and the rest of the defensive staff have figured out those plays.
Then again, sometimes, it’s better to be lucky than good and I’d certainly take that tonight to help UCLA win the turnover game again like last weekend.
Let’s look at the game time weather forecast....
Game Time Weather Forecast
Tonight is looking like a typical night in the Desert. The game time forecast is for clear skies and a temperature of about 80° at kickoff. Look for it to drop the mid-70s by halftime.
It should drop a few more degrees during the second half and be in the low 70s throughout the second half.

This season, we are proud to, again, have today’s audio feed for everyone who opts to use the TuneIn player embedded below. For optimum results at home, start the audio feed then pause your DVR and sync them up together so you don’t have to listen to the ESPN broadcast team of Beth Mowins, Anthony Becht, and Rocky Boiman if you don’t want to. Personally, I can’t stand listening to Mowins. I find her really irritating. So, I’ll be doing this again tonight.
