Prior to this weekend’s sweep of the Arizona schools by the UCLA Bruins, UCLA fans responded to the weekly fan confidence poll which rose for the fourth week in a row.

After sweeping the mountain schools, the weekly fan confidence poll jumped to 98% from 95% the previous week.

Of course, this begs the question at this point: What don’t the remaining 2% not see which makes them fail to agree with everyone else?

Let’s look at the history of the poll since the start of the season:

In other news, fans nationwide were asked which teams deserve a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Of the eight possibilities, Kansas and Baylor were selected by 86% and 85% of respondents, respectively. Gonzaga received the third highest percentage at 74% while San Diego State was selected by 47% of respondents.

Of the other four choices, Dayton was closest to San Diego State at 37%, followed by Duke at 30%. Maryland was named on 23% of ballots and Florida State was last with 19%.

You can still sign up to participate in the SB Nation/Bruins Nation Fan Pulse for basketball season. While there isn’t a basketball top 25 poll, you can voice your opinion on the direction of the UCLA basketball program!

Voting for this week’s poll will begin this morning when this week’s FanPulse surveys are sent out. Will Bruin fan confidence finally hit the elusive 100% after UCLA swept the Arizona schools?

Are you in the 2% who still voted that they aren’t confident in the direction of the UCLA basketball program under Mick Cronin? If so, please explain why not.

Go Bruins!!!
